Captain Harry is a year-around resident of Juneau, Alaska and fully experienced in navigating the rugged Alaskan waters. In addition to being a licensed boat captain, Captain Harry is certified as a Wilderness First Aid Responder, and worked for many years as a Wilderness Guide and Survival Instructor. Whatever the situation, you can rest assured that you are in his capable hands. With over 8-years of whale-watching experience, Capt. Harry also holds a degree in Geology, a minor in marine biology, and is widely referenced in a number of books concerning Alaskan wolf studies.
The Weather Permitting boat is a Coast Guard inspected aluminum catamaran built to meet the highest of Coast Guard standards, as well as being certified by the U.S. Forest Service. Aside from the incredibly stable catamaran double hull, the Weather Permitting is equipped with first-aid/A.E.D., redundant safety systems, and full electronics.
